Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne Head To Amazon’s CARNIVAL ROW

Amazon Studios’ Carnival Row has cast Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings) and Cara Delevigne (Valerian, Suicide Squad) as its two leads. The series is set in a neo-Victorian city where mythical creatures fleeing their war-torn homeland have gathered, putting them at odds with the human citizens. The series is based on a feature film script originally written by executive producer Travis Beacham titled A Killing on Carnival Row, which made the prestigious Hollywood Blacklist back in 2005. He later tried to develop with Guillermo del Toro, who dropped out bcc eb the project earlier this year. Paul McGuigan (Victor Frankenstein, Lucky Number Slevin) will be directing all 8 episodes of the series while executive produced and showrunner Rene Echevarria (Teen Wolf, The 4400) will be handling writing duties.
